Making a Background Video

Last term, I made a super rough intro video — like really rough — just to test how things would look when switching scenes. I did it quickly in After Effects and honestly, it was kinda ugly 

But then I thought:
"If players are going to explore these scenes, maybe I should give them a bit of story first."

So I started working on a real background video. I wrote a short script, searched for royalty-free clips and textures online, and ended up making a 1.5-minute intro video to explain the idea behind the world.

At one point, I also tried to create a loading animation between each portal scene. But… it looked really bad, like a cheap PowerPoint transition.
So yeah — scrapped that plan.

The video, at least, turned out pretty decent!
