Feedback Reflection
Firstly, the theme, relevance, rationale, and objectives of my project were clearly articulated in my presentation, the teacher expressed satisfaction with these aspects. I presented the purpose and goals of my project, explaining its relevance to current trends and challenges in the field. I also outlined how the project could address these issues. In addition, I created user role profiles based on a survey I conducted, which helped me define the target audience and position the project effectively. This user-centered approach was an important part of the presentation, as it demonstrated that the project was designed with real user needs in mind. Furthermore, I provided a technical schedule, comparing the different technologies I considered. I explained the reasoning behind each choice, showcasing their suitability for the project’s objectives. This not only reflected my technical understanding but also validated my decisions. I also demonstrated two prototypes, which illustrated the development direction of the project, particularly its application in Unity and A-Frame.
However, despite the overall clarity of my presentation, several areas need improvement, particularly in project management planning. The teacher pointed out that the project lacked a clear plan for future development, as well as an analysis of potential risks and strategies to mitigate them. I realized that while I focused on the technical aspects and prototypes, I did not adequately address how I would manage the project, including time, resources, and risks. This feedback made me recognize the importance of effective project management alongside technical execution. In the future, I will ensure that I provide a detailed project timeline, including clear milestones, risk assessments, and strategies for overcoming challenges. This will help demonstrate that I have a solid plan for managing the project and ensuring its success.
Additionally, regarding VR, the feedback highlighted that my project lacked sufficient depth in exploring this technology. Although I presented prototypes involving VR, I did not fully explore its potential or integrate it in a way that would maximize its impact on the user experience. I now realize that VR is not just about adding basic functionality but about creating an immersive and engaging experience. To improve the project, I will dedicate more time to studying VR technology, focusing on how it can enhance user interaction and immersion. This will involve optimizing user interfaces and exploring innovative ways to integrate VR into the project.
As for my poor expression in the preview, I realized that the organization and language expression of part of the content were not completely smooth in the explanation, resulting in some information not being effectively conveyed to the audience. This may have affected the overall presentation of my project. After reflection, I think that I did not control my speech speed and intonation well under nervous emotions, nor did I make sufficient preparation in advance, which led to the situation of stuttering and repetition in some links. In the future, I will practice rehearsing more to ensure that I can express myself more clearly and confidently.
In conclusion, I will adjust my project based on the feedback, with a focus on improving project management planning and deepening the exploration of VR technology. By addressing these areas, I am confident that the project will progress more smoothly and deliver a more impactful result.
